About Us

Doel and Karla were both born in San Juan, but while he was probably getting nasty sunburns in Coco Beach, Rio Grande, she was likely fighting for her life by killing centipedes in the countryside of Trujillo Alto.  They both have a drive for spicy food comas but change lanes when it comes to which cuisine reigns supreme: Indian for him; Thai for her.  Both are pretty nice despite the fact that he can’t help making gloomy jokes and she can only do so much about her resting bitch face.  Like his sense of humor, favorite color is black; hers –you guessed it--, white.  In Fressco, however, they managed to blend their mutually inclusive passions: his love for Caribbean aesthetics with her crush on vintage stuff.
